Midcoast Security utilise an Independent monitoring centre. The monitoring centre is the 2nd largest independantly owned and operated CMS in Australia. Full redundant power systems, air conditioning and telco systems are installed, making it one of the most efficient monitoring centers in the country. The monitoring station is small and personal, unlike the multi-national companies. MCS utilise’s this monitoring centre because they deliver the highest quality service to clients throughout Australia. The control room is located in Brisbane and monitors security systems Australia-wide.
All Control Room Operators are fully-trained, licensed professionals and when an alarm is received, the operators follow the customer’s instructions that are held on file. This usually means that they will attempt to contact a nominated person/s to inform them of what has happened. If required they will send out a security guard to the premises, and, if deemed necessary, the emergency services can also be contacted on our customer’s behalf.
No Contracts
Midcoast security offers its customers 24hour/7 days a week monitoring at very affordable rates and customers are not required to sign any contract. If customers are not happy with our service they can cancel their monitoring at any time, without penalty.

Remote Access
Midcoast security offers the latest technology to save you time and money.
Many security systems monitored by MCS are set up with full remote access. This is a cost saving issue for our customers, and allows our licensed staff, with our customer’s consent, to make changes such as issuing/altering of user codes and entry/exit times, and remote arming of systems when required, etc.
For example: A client holidaying in the U.K may call the monitoring centre because they could not remember if they had activated their alarm system before they left on holidays. Whilst the client was on the phone, an operator was able to dial into their system, check to see if the security system was armed and activate it remotely.
This gives our client instant confirmation that their home is now protected.

Note:
Beware of offers of cheap monitoring or free monitoring, as you maybe suprised at the hidden agendas of some companies offering such services, they generally arent around long, or want a huge pay out fee if you cancel the contract.
Tip: You really should not be paying more than 3 months in advance, as the security company now has your funds and you will find it hard to recoup this, if there is a problem with that company or you wish to change providors.
