Peter Connor is the owner of the business and has had experience in all aspects of the industry since 1994.
Peter first started his employment in the industry in Brisbane with Abel security and this is where he gained his knowledge to allow him to further his career in security.
Peter was involved in a franchise that led him in certain areas of the state and he finally decided to settle with his family which has grown and make Hervey bay his home in 1998. Peter has been involved in alarm installation and maintenance, installation of ducted vacuums, alarms and CCTV systems.
Peter was involved in security patrols, guarding property and even cash transit before concentrating on Electronic Security in 2001. Peter has held a security license since 1998 and this involves criminal history checks every year under state legislation. Although this is not required for the electronic side, it is helpful in light of the new legislatory changes proposed to the industry.
Peter Connor holds a current ACMA approved cabling license, Peter has attended Inner Range training and holds a current certified technician status. Peter has attended the TCP/IP and Insight courses and is planning to attend the next advanced course to enable him to move to Advanced Software endorsed status. This will enable him to be part of the elite number of technicians currently 3 (aug07) who hold this qualification in Qld.
For installations and maintenance, Inner Range strongly recommend that customers use a Factory Certified Professional whose certification level suits their particular application. Certified Professionals are found at Accredited Dealers.
